I’m wondering if some kind folks out there might be able to help me. I’m looking for a new place to go and photograph. What I really want to see is a “ghost town”, an old abandoned mining town or some old cemeteries. I really have an interest in taking some photos of old equipment, old buildings and things that have been weathered.

I’ve come across some old cemeteries on my way to Crowder’s and King’s Mountain as well as some in the town of Clover, but that was by luck and accident I came across those. I would like to know if there are more places like this I can go. I looked on the Web to find information, but the directions are far too vague to actually find these places. I guess you have to be from that area in order to know what they’re talking about.

They don’t really have to be haunted or anything (although that would be even better!), just something that looks like it could be haunted. I’m just looking for something a little different to take pictures of. If you know of something in the NC/SC area let me know! If you have some pictures you’ve taken, I’d love to see them!

There has to be some good ol’ fashioned ghost town around the place somewhere!!
