DxO Optics Pro jumps to version 4.5 and includes several new features:

The previous release allowed for compatibility with Vista, but this release offers new features and upgrades.

Features include:

* Integration with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom®
* The long-awaited Flickr® Export plug-in is here!
* A new automatic tool: the Auto-crop!
* Free Presets by pro and expert photographers
* Geeky, but useful stuff – RAM usage and GPU implementation
* Free upgrade for all DxO Optics Pro v4.x users

Adobe Lightroom:
- Exclusive Plug-In for Adobe Lightroom. You can now send your images straight from Adobe Lightroom to DxO Optics Pro for processing AND the corrected files will be integrated directly into your Lightroom library with the metadata preserved.

- New ‘Process to Adobe Lightroom’ feature within DxO Optics Pro that will send your DxO-processed images straight into an Adobe Lightroom library.

Auto Crop:
Now, v4.5 of the software can automatically crop a batch of images that have been corrected for horizon alignment or perspective for example.

Presets:
The ability to create processing presets and re-use them is one of the most powerful time-savers in DxO Optics Pro.

I’m anxious to see the Lightroom integration and the Presets options also sounds like it could be a big time saver.
