Photo Friendly Computers
PopPhoto shows off 5 Photo Friendly Computers. These big rigs offer plenty of performance and would just as easily handle gaming as the demands of photography. But then again, they really aren’t that different now are they? Most come with card readers, Dual Layer burners, hefty monitors and lots of built in software you may or may not decide to keep.
I think any of these machines would be great to work with, except I don’t understand why they have paltry 250GB drives when there are 1TB and 750GB drives so readily available. With huge RAW files, massive Photoshop, PaintShop and Lightroom files, 250GB does go as far as it used to. Seems like a hell of a lot money to spend on a machine which is almost immediately need an upgrade…
