Picture Gallery of Downtown Charlotte at Night
I posted some pictures of my adventures on the roof of the Westin Hotel. I think the pictures of downtown Charlotte came out pretty damn well. It was a heck of an experience, with a clear night sky, a slight breeze and an excellent sunset to start everything off.
I tried a lot of different exposures ranging from 1/15 sec to 13 seconds. I also used my remote trigger so I didn’t have to shake the camera to trip the shutter.
Since I may never get back up there again, I took my laptop with me and checked out the pictures while sitting on the roof. That is some pretty high in the sky geeking right there.
I think a lot of these turned out very well and I’m considering having one of them blown up to poster size to hang on my wall. I printed a few as 8×10’s for my own little gallery already.
