Canon to boost DSLR camera lens production
Canon has yet to comment on media reports that it plans to start producing digital SLR lenses in Taiwan because it has no more room at its factories in Japan.
‘Canon plans to install additional production lines at the existing factory for assembling DSLR camera lenses and aims to suppress production costs by installing automated equipment,’ states an article in Japanese trade publication, Pen News Weekly.
