Canon UK confirms EOS 50D camera

Author: At 15.1 megapixels and 6FPS this is probably the camera I will be upgrading to. Funny, it’s actually coming to market quite a bit sooner than I would have expected. I’m sure they wanted this out before Christmas so everyone can add it to their list.
It looks like there are significant improvements such as:
Viewfinder resolution of 920,000 pixels
ISO 12,800
17-85mm IS kit lens (can’t be that)
Canon has officially unveiled the EOS 50D, a digital SLR that will bridge the gap between the EOS 40D and 5D when it goes on sale next month.
Features include a new CMOS imaging sensor, Digic 4 image processor and ‘improved usability’.
