Free copy of Paint Shop Pro X

As part of a promotion with Lexar, you can get a free license copy of Corel Paint Shop Pro X. To download the full version retail Corel Paint Shop Pro X setup installer, just head to the following URL to register:

After entering your name and email, the setup installer of Corel Paint Shop Pro X version 10.10 will start downloading immediately. If you miss the download, here is the direct download link to the setup installer: Corel_PaintShopPro1010_EN_LEXAR_Retail.exe

Keep in mind the freeware version of Paint Shop Pro X will have a nag reminder screen to buy and upgrade to Corel Paint Shop Pro XI for $59.99 every time the program is closed. It’s possible to customize the settings to limit the frequency of the reminders to daily, weekly, or monthly, or use the following hack to remove the nag screen altogether.

Procedure to Remove Free Corel Paint Shop Pro X Upgrade Nag Screen

  1. After installing Corel Paint Shop Pro X, run Notepad.
  2. Open the following file in Notepad:

    C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro X\PCUUI\Container.htm

    Note: You may need to take ownership and full control of the files in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

  3. Replace the text inside the file with the following code:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    location ="pcucmd://Cancel?confirm=no";
    </script>
