Go for Blood 2010!

Author: I just signed up for the American Red Cross, "Go for Blood 2010" for this Saturday. I figured after my rather poor showing last time I need to try and redeem myself.
This was the first true biking event I ever did, so I’m curious to see how I fair this year. I’m a little gun-shy since my last outing was such a failure. But I can’t live in fear, I have to jump back in the bike and head back out there. There is a pretty good chance for rain on Saturday, but this event starts at 7:15am so I’m hoping that won’t happen until later in the evening.
I’m going to try and put a lot of miles in on the trainer tonight and tomorrow. If the weather is good I’ll ride after work, but there are some ugly clouds rolling in right now so I’m not sure how this will play out.
Funny thing is, once the ride is over it’s time for more house work so that should be quite interesting.
