Work is a ghost town

The office is empty. All the important people are on vacation. I thought I was needed so we could finish up the project I’ve been working on. It seems I may have been mistaken. The office is bare. All the devs are out of the rest of the year, or at least until late next week so I have nothing to work on. It appears I will be knocking off a little early today and heading home. If the devs are gone then clearly there is no new code for me to test. I suppose I could play some Need for Speed Hot Pursuit on the iPad, but perhaps now is not the best time to push the tolerance of any managers that might actually be roaming around the building.

If I’ve got nothing going on by lunch time then I’ll head out to get a new fondue set and then head home.
