How to Install the Nook Book App for Android onto the Kindle Fire

Yes you can read your Nook Books on your Kindle Fire, and quite easily too. And why would you want to do this? I have Nook books and I want to be able to read them on my Kindle. I much prefer to do all my reading in the iPad’s bigger screen, but I want my Kindle to have all my books as well. Amazon may frown upon such things, but that’s irrelevant.

To install the Nook software you need to do the following.

Within the Kindle Fire, on the configuration screen, click Device then select "Allow Installation of Applications from Unknown Sources." This will allow you to install APK packages directly.

Since Amazon isn’t going to let you have the Nook software you will need to seek it out elsewhere. What you need is the direct APK package which you can find at http://www.apktops.com/nook-for-android-by-bn-2-7-1-5.html

Click the install Download NOOK for Android by B&N 2.7.1.5 apk link

Download the file, click Install and then log in to Barnes and Noble. You should see a list of all your books.

It worked fine for me so if you have books from Barnes and Noble, grab the Nook App for Android and get your whole book collection installed.
