Time to start things off with some flaming pumpkins
This is my first batch of the year and I have to say things went quite well. I got some spectacular effects and had a massive 6 foot flame shooting out the top. This one really went off and lasted for nearly an hour. I went all in and bought the expensive mega rolls of toilet paper to stick in there. They claim it’s like 4 rolls all wrapped into one!
Judging from the burn length, they might be right.
I did make a slight change to the pumpkin burning process and now the pumpkins are nestled in a fire bowl for safe keeping until they meeting their ultimate Halloween destiny. It works really well actually and keeps the home owners association at bay, and that’s really what it’s all about.
So here we go, let the pumpkin burning begin!
Halloween Death Toll – The Big Finale
Well, that’s the end of it, Halloween has come to an end. The last of the pumpkins embers have burned out and it’s time to put the decorations away. It’s been one hell of a great time though. I’ve carved plenty of pumpkins this year and taken some insanely cool flaming pumpkin photos. Here’s the latest batch I did just a few minutes ago. Sure, it’s November, but it’s never to late to set a pumpkin on fire! This gallery is really worth checking out since the flames just about got out of control.
My Halloween Pumpkin Carvings
I was a pumpkin carving fool last night (as opposed to the regular fool I am all the others days of the year). While handing out candy I carved five different characters. I started off with Gelatin Skeleton, and Worm Food on the same pumpkin. I then paired up Pretty Poison and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. For our scarecrow I carved one of the grinning heads and used it as his head. I also had my Batman and Asylum Joker combination out on the porch as well. I even had my Mr. Incredible that I carved into the Funkin. The pumpkins looked pretty good that’s for sure.
Before the night was over we also carved Horton and Pumpkin King.
I did do a pumpkin lighting at the end of the night but of course it started raining heavily which really dampened the effect. I couldn’t get any pictures because it would have soaked my camera. We contented ourselves to simply stand there and watch. They looked good that’s for sure!
Here’s a few pictures from the night, I’ll have some in a little bit.
