Some shots from my Backyard_again. I was drawn to the cat-o-nine tails that
are out there by the pond. It's been a long time since I had any of those
growing close by. I just love the way they look and how they come apart when the
wind gets a hold of them. They're like a great big dandelion waiting for you to
send the seeds into the air.
I also found the thorny vines and their tendrils pretty interesting to look
at. I think these are blackberry bushes that are starting to sprout back up. I
might be wrong, but I know those are out there. Anyway, the twists and curves of
the little vines are just great to look at. They have this death grip on the
other plant. As soon as it warms back up a little I will have to get back out
there and check on their progress. Who knows what they will wrap themselves
around next.
Taken with Rebel XTI and Sigma 105mm lens.
